My Dear ABUAD Students,
I warmly welcome you back to campus as academic activities resumed following the 2025 end-of-year break. I trust that the holiday period provided time for rest, family bond, relaxation and reflection. You are returning refreshed and ready to engage fully with your academic responsibilities, sports social and campus, engagement, and with a renewed spirit for excellence.
As you settle back into university life, I urge you to remain focused, diligent in your studies and in all you do. Please take ownership of your academic journey manage your time effectively, participate fully in lectures, revision and seek guidance at all times.
Our university has prepared the ground for you to take maximum opportunity to grow with inspiration. Develop with purpose. And enjoy the learning process that leads you to success. Remember that you are here because you and your parents have carefully chosen our university to prepare you for your promising future careers and develop you as complex individuals.
Do not forget your health and well-being as they are equally important. Maintain good hygiene, eat balanced diet, rest adequately, and make use of the University’s medical facilities when needed. Our professional counselling unit is always ready to listen and advise you on the myriads of complex issues that face your generation.
It is also important to be security conscious and comply with all University safety guidelines. Kindly remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activities promptly. Safety within the University community is a shared responsibility.
