Dear Esteemed Members of Our University Community,
On behalf of the Founder, Aare Afe Emmanuel Babalola, SAN, CON, OFR, DLitt, LLD hc London; His amiable Wife, Mother of the University (MOU) and CEO ABUAD Ventures- Yeye Aare Modupe Babalola, FSM, FNIMN, FFPA; the Governing Council; the Senate; and the Management of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), it is my great privilege to extend warm felicitations to every member of our university family on this occasion of Workers’ Day.
Workers’ Day, celebrated globally every 1st of May, honours the dedication and achievements of the labour force. At ABUAD, our collective progress and reputation for excellence rest squarely upon the commitment of our academic staff, administrative professionals, technical teams, and support personnel.
Your unwavering passion for teaching, research, community outreach, and the smooth operation of our institution has propelled ABUAD towards its vision of becoming a world-class centre of academic prowess, moral character, sporting achievement, and vocational excellence. Every lecture delivered, policy developed, experiment conducted, and support service rendered contributes indispensably to the flourishing of our university community.
As we reflect on the past year’s milestones and look ahead to new challenges, let us recommit ourselves to the guiding principles of innovation, integrity, and collaboration. In an ever-changing global landscape, our shared resilience and adaptability will determine ABUAD’s continued impact on higher education and society at large.
I encourage each and every one to use this day not only as a celebration of past accomplishments but also as an opportunity for renewed dedication to our collective goals. May the spirit of Workers’ Day inspire us all to uphold the highest standards of excellence and solidarity.
