On this year’s World Drug Day, we reaffirm a timeless truth: a healthy mind is the bedrock upon which purposeful destinies are forged. Yet, drug abuse persists as an insidious thief; pilfering dreams, derailing potential, and eroding the very fabric of families and communities. Confronting this scourge demands more than awareness; it requires an unwavering commitment to prevention.
Across the intricate tapestry of our communities, one truth emerges with clarity: prevention is the cornerstone. It calls for collective resolve to intercept risks at their roots and, above all, to equip people of all generations with the tools and insight to lead life more consciously. This conviction drives ABUAD.
At ABUAD, we are actively building a healthier society by empowering students, parents, and educators to make informed choices. The success of our Drug-Free Club stands as a testament, continuously spreading messages of hope, healing, and practical assistance.
Championed by Associate Professor Ifeoluwayimika Bamidele, PhD, the Drug Free Project charts a transformative course toward a drug-free future. Be part of it: www.drugfreeproject.org
Let us break the cycle, protect our communities, and inspire the next generation to live lives of meaning, value, and virtue.
