The Vice- Chancellor, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD)- Prof. Elisabeta Smaranda OLARINDE, FCAI, FCArb, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, paid an unscheduled visit to halls and centres, venues of the 2024/2025 First Semester Examination.
She began her impromptu visit with the examination hall of the prestigious College of Law, where students, decked in their white and black outfits, had their eyes fixed on their scripts. From there, she proceeded to the College of Sciences, then the College of Social and Management Sciences (SMS), and the College of Engineering.
The Vice-Chancellor’s tour ended with an on-the-spot assessment of the Institution’s Information and Communication (ICT) Center, where 100 level students of the College of Medicine and Health Science were having their Computer Based Examination.
Prof. Olarinde charged students and lecturers at each of the colleges visited to be “up and doing”, adhering strictly to the dress code of ABUAD.
“Be properly dressed at all times. You have to be on your I.D Card always. Ladies you are to desist from provocative dresses. This is an Institution of learning, your hairdo should be corporate” she maintained
Meanwhile, the Institution’s 2024/2025 First Semester Examination commenced on Monday, January 28th, and is scheduled to run until Friday, February 14th, 2025.
